As per the new guideline I can claim a maximum of Rs.60000 (Rs.5000 per month) as rent deduction. But when I am filing the same in ITR-4 it is automatically taking only Rs.24000. Can you please explain whether deduction has been raised or not for FY 2015-2016??

The limit has been raised w.e.f. F.Y 2016-17. That is the reason the utility is computing it on 2,ooo per month basis.
