I got 57 marks in Advance Accounts. Questions totaling to 8 marks were supposedly out of syllabus(Question 5.a.). My question is, would these 8 marks have been added to the marks received proportionately or otherwise? If not, are there any chances of me getting a portion or whole of those marks(as it would get me an exemption, apparently)?

If there is any question which was out of syllabus, marks would have already been allotted to you for the same.

These marks wont change in case you opt for Revaluation.

Are you sure about it? 'Coz am pretty sure that my paper is worth more than 49 marks(57-8). Also my friends who have received around 35 are sure that their papers are worth more than 20 somethings.

You can always opt for Revaluation.

In case any question is unchecked or there is a totaling error - it will get rectified.

However, for the questions which you are saying was out of course - the marks allotted for that question wld remain the same.
