    Local Unit & Position Description
    Finance Controller will be responsible for providing support to the Indian office for Renewables = approx. 35 nos.

    No budgetary responsibility. However colleague will be involved in processing of invoices and all supporting documentation

    Colleague is required to interact with:
    • Managers and staff across the Region on a regular basis – email, telephone or face-to-face
    • External organisations, (Vendors, Agency and Professional bodies) on a regular basis – email, telephone and occasionally face-to-face
    Position requirements:
    • To provide high quality Accounting support to the Indian office by working closely with the Indian administration, accounting team and Regional Finance Manager.
    • To provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers by maintaining a good understanding of the office and its business.
    • To take responsibility for ensuring that all tasks are carried out to the highest standards and accuracy.
    • Invoicing activities (ie: preparation, sending to clients etc)
    • Preparation of budget and various accounting reports, for example Work In Progress Report, Order Monitoring, etc
    • Coordinating with Accounts Team in India, Mumbai and Singapore
    • Verification and entry of vendor bills and employee reimbursement into the software
    • Monitoring purchase orders and follow up with the vendors and accounts team for payment release
    • Maintaining various registers as and when required, for example assets and purchase orders
    • Procurement and maintenance organisation of office equipment
    • To follow up and ensure that payments are received as per the contracts from Customers
    • To provide information regarding taxation and other legal and regulatory requirements
    • To provide support during internal and external audits
    Position Qualifications

    • Bachelors or Master degree in finance/commerce or Chartered Accountant with minimum 3 years of experience
    • Sound accounting standard knowledge
    • Experience of invoicing and preparation of reports
    • Knowledge of Indirect tax
    • Strong planning and organisational skills
    • Ability to manage and prioritise your workload and conflicting deadlines.
    • Able to work on initiative and plan work without day-to-day direction from manager
    • A sound background within an Accounting environment
    • Good communication skills both written and verbal
    • Excellent computer skills (MS-Office – Excel, Word and Power Point)
    • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
    • Flexible, friendly, pro-active manner
    • Knowledge of ERP is preferable
    • General office administration experience
    • Experience of organising travel bookings and visa applications
