    An exciting opportunity has risen for a Project Controller to join our Finance team based out of the New Delhi office. This is a highly varied accounting role, supporting the finance team with their different requirements, demands and deadlines in a proactive manner.
    The ideal candidate must be confident, organized, accurate and calm under pressure/deadlines. The successful candidate will need to be able to plan, prioritise, communicate and manage workload effectively under the guidance of the team

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensuring accurate internal / ICF project set-ups.
    • Ensuring accurate internal contract set-ups and definition of appropriate billing and revenue terms (i.e. indirect rates (cost-plus), billing rates (Time & Management), and Equivalent Annual Cost (Fixed-Price), Project Labour Categories (PLCs) set-up in ICF’s Maconomy and Costpoint system.
    • Managing the project invoicing process for a portfolio of projects.
    • Managing processes to ensure accuracy of client invoices and applicable required evidence/back up as required under the contract.
    • Managing the subcontractors’ invoice accrual process.
    • Preparing the production and analysis of Days Sales Outstanding / Lock up (Debtors and Work In Progress).
    • Working with the E&A Treasury and Corporate Treasury on Days Sales Outstanding / Lockup.
    • Completing the budget reforecasting process, including estimating costs to complete, in accordance with ICF policies and procedures.
    • Producing project monthly progress reports/other reporting requirements as required. Implementing the timely update of project budgets on Maconomy and Costpoint.
    • Communicating and working with personnel remotely in local project offices.
    • Working with local administrative functions and ensuring timely delivery documentation/information.
    • Producing applicable Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
    • Working with Corporate Accounting and US Treasury Compliance as part of periodic compliance reviews or related initiatives.
    • Working with project managers to monitor and maintain project profitability.
    • Assisting with period end and year end processes.
    • Ad-Hoc duties as and when required.
    Basic Qualifications:
    • Qualified chartered accountant with 5+ year experience of working in a finance role including 3+ years working in project control
    Required Skills:
    • On a technical level you will be educated to at least degree level with 5+ years of experience working in a professional corporate environment. Specifically, you will be fully conversant with:
    • Working as a project controller responsible for a portfolio of projects
    • Working with ERP systems and ideally Costpoint, Maconomy, and Sage
    • Working in an international environment, liaising with overseas colleagues
    • Creating meaningful financial analysis and understanding;
    • Playing a key role in the monthly financial and management accounting processes
