    The CIB Chief Administrative Office (CAO) team provides oversight and support for JPMC’s Corporate & Investment Banking CAO Group, a $6Bn organization that partners with all business lines in the CIB and firm-wide to support the Technology and Operation (T&O) groups.
    JPMC is required to maintain and evidence robust resolution planning pursuant to provisions of Dodd-Frank and to update its annual Recovery Plan submitted to the Fed. The group works closely with the resolution and recovery representatives and executive management teams across the LOBs, corporate functions and regions on coordinating and delivering the firm’s global requirements. CIB critical operations represent the 12 CIB organizations that are considered systemically important by the regulators.

    Position:

    The Associate will be part of CIB CAO Planning & Analysis organization responsible for CAO Resolution & Recovery functions & deliverables working closely with the local team and global stakeholders

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Monitor CAO cost center hierarchy changes on month over month basis to identify critical operation centers. Coordinate with business managers to also review the existing cost center mapping to critical ops
    • Maintain adequate control on sign-off provided by business managers on critical operations and ensure that we receive response from all assigned individuals, or to their designated back-ups
    • To provide Sub-LOB mapping of T&O cost centers to CIB Resolution & Recovery team for mapping to reference data on monthly basis
    • Produce monthly reports of FTE headcount allocated to each CIB business aligned critical operation from T&O sending cost centers and is reported in the annual resolution plan submission to the Fed and the FDIC for each business-aligned critical operation.
    • Review Headcount & Location view details for Appendices 16 & 22, produced by CIB R&R PMO team and co-ordinate for sign-off by the CAO P&A lead on quarterly cycle
    • Review and update CAO Overview section of the CIB LOB for the annual resolution plan submission annually
    • Provide analysis and assumptions of T&O shared services headcount to align to the material legal entities and LOB/Sub-LOB
    • Provide ongoing and ad hoc support on any CAO T&O related topics as a response to feedback/ guidance and any other resolution related regulatory queries
    • Effective engagement with stakeholders, finance managers & aligned teams for updates on expense allocation rules, methodologies, business events etc.
    • Provide support for management reviews and value added analytics
    Qualifications
    Qualifications:

    Chartered Accountant / MBA in finance with at least 6-8 years of working experience in financial planning & analysis with exposure to resolution recovery reporting aspects will be preferred

    Competencies / skills required:
    • Experience in Banking / financial services industry and working with global stake-holders will be preferred
    • Understanding of corporate governance, financial reporting systems, regulatory submissions, role of regulatory authorities will be added advantage
    • Ability to demonstrate good judgment and professionalism on large, cross platform projects with short deadlines
    • Able to plan and prioritize various tasks in order to meet deadlines
    • Excellent Excel skills; knowledge in Macros/ MS Access and financial modeling would be an advantage
