    We have a position available for a Manager – Global Accounting

    As part of the Global Accounting team, you will play an important role in ensuring all the accounting is completed in accordance with the accounting policies and principles and providing the Leadership team with accurate financial information to enable them make the best business decisions.

    Responsibilities & Deliverables:

    Your deliverables as Manager – Global Accounting will include, but are not limited to, the following:
    • Reviewing contracts for software sale/ post sale services/ implementation, prepare contract summaries, update revenue recognition checklist, and identify appropriate revenue recognizable.
    • Managing the end to end accounting of revenue and non-revenue areas (including but not limited to FAR, accruals, prepayment, journals, etc.)
    • Ensuring a timely and smooth closure of Month end cycles and reporting
    • Managing all the monthly schedules at a standard that is auditable by PWC. Should have the know-how and confidence to manage and front end auditors. Should be able to anticipate possible issues that may come up, work on fixing the process & balances and escalate to management as needed.
    • Managing the monthly/ quarterly/ annual business reports to the leadership team
    • Should adopt a ‘no-surprises’ style of managing the process. Any issues should be highlighted at the first instance, develop solutions by working closely with local managements and stakeholders. Work on a project if needed to clean up the balances
    • Working closely with stakeholders (located globally), managing & delivering on expectations, communicating effectively and in a timely manner. Should be confident discussing challenging issues with stakeholders and should act as a “go-to” person in the areas that would be allocated
    • Managing a team of accountants (4-6 in number). Should focus on training the team members and making them independent in the areas that they handle (process, accounting & communication with stakeholders). Should set high standards to ensure financial reporting integrity.


    • Qualified Chartered Accountant with 7-8 years of experience
    • Well versed in Revenue Accounting
    • Complete knowledge on General Accounting
    • Good Knowledge in IFRS / US GAAP
