    The Financial Control Group (FCG) is responsible for overseeing the accounting and financial and regulatory reporting for the Firm. FCG prepares external financial reports for public filings and regulators. For internal reporting FCG, along with Financial Planning and Analysis (FPA), summarizes, plans and forecasts the organization’s financial position, including income statements, balance sheets, and analyses of future revenues, expenses and earnings. FCG is comprised of Business Unit Controllers, Infrastructure Controllers, Accounting, Regulatory and Reporting groups, and Valuation Review.

    Morgan Stanley is looking to hire an Analyst within the Institutional Security Finance Group. The role will cover Risk Reporting for EMEA ISG Finance.

    Key Responsibilities Include:

    • Production of monthly EMEA ISGF risk report and presentation to EMEA ISGF COO
    • Collaboration with FinRisk and Risk Leads in IED, FID, IBD and Commodities to produce risk report and understand monthly movements and remediation efforts
    • Facilitate data collection process, analyze key risk indicators and contribute to the monthly metrics coordination effort
    • Ensure system availability for risk reporting and send notifications / escalation for issues, errors or production delays
    • Preparation of reports (e.g. Operational Risk Incidents, Internal Audit findings) in response to Regulator queries and assessments

    Skills Required:
    • Strong academic background
    • Good Analytical Skill
    • Excellent organisational communication and relationship management skills
    • Must be highly motivated with the commitment required to consistently meet goals
    • Strong controls awareness.
    • Financial Products knowledge essential
    • Strong Excel skills is must
    • Qualified Accountant or equivalent specialization in Finance stream
    • Preferred 2 – 4 years financial experience (Capital Market related experience an advantage)
    • Macros & VBA knowledge will be added advantage
