Can I sell my Property at a price above or below Govt Valuation?

    HELLO EXPERTS

    I WANT TO SALE MY PROPETY

    AS PER GOVERNMENT VALUATION PROPERTY IS 18000 SQ.MTR I.E 18000*167.28625 SQ.MT (toal plot area)

    TOTAL AMOUNT BECOME 30 LACK (APPROX)

    MY QUESTION IS ON WHICH PRICE I CAN SELL THIS EITHER 30 LACKS OR LESS OR MORE

    PLEASE GUIDE URGENT

    This is only the Govt Valuation on which the Stamp Duty would be required to be paid.

    You can sell this at any price either above or below this price.

    I Agree with Gaurav Kumar Sir.

    Also, it would be recommended that you dont sell it below Govt valuation as it might attract scrutiny.

    You may sell it at Govt Valuation or above.

    you can sell it any price. But there is no point to sell it below govt circle rate, as it is already minimum valuation of the property.

    Sir,

    if a seller has sold his property at Rs15,00,000 where as the buyer has done the registry at circle rate at Rs 8,00,000. seller has taken the balance money 7,00,000 in white and took new property at Rs 22,00,000 within one year of selling. Now, is there is any liability on seller or Buyer in terms of taxes or other things?
