Deduction for NPS if Account is in name of Wife?

    I am retired state Government employee aged 65 years.

    My wife is aged below 60 years and he is non-tax payer.

    If the NPS account is opened in the name of my wife can I claim benefit available under relevant section of Income Tax.?

    No, you cant claim Deduction in this case.

    Only the wife can claim the deduction
