I registered on Nov 14 through direct entry scheme. Is it better to join for coaching or articleship? Whether I come under new syllabus??

It is compulsary for Direct Entry students to first complete 9 months of articleship before appearing for IPCC Exams.

Moreover, as you have enrolled through the Direct Entry Route after Graduation - clearing IPCC would not be tough for you.

Go ahead and focus more on articleship

I'm a physics graduate. What knowledge I should have for articleship? I would like to go for coaching too. So whether I come under new syllabus?

If you are a physics graduate, you would certainly be required to work harder as compared to a B. Com graduate

Basic knowledge of accounts & tax is required to join articleship.

@areejeet : If you pursue graduation through Correspondence, you may save 1 year as your CA may get completed early.

However, when opting for Job - people who have done their graduation from a Regular College are given more preference.

Students pursuing Graduation through Regular College always have a slight advantage over the students pursuing Graduation through Correspondence
