I got 69 marks in law paper in may 2016 attempt which was my first attempt. But i failed to clear both the groups.result of my gr 1 shows f-ex but there is no # symbol against marks of paper 2.and result at the end is fail . am i eligible for exemption in nov 2016 if i appear in both groups? if yes how many marks i need to secure in each group to get aggregate?

Yes, you are eligible to claim the exemption and would be required to secure 350 less the marks secured in the exempted paper.

Is there any procedure to claim exemption or simply not appearing in the paper exempted is sufficient? Is it required to mention details of exemption while applying for online exam form?

The exemption is automatic and it can be claimed simply by not appearing in the exam
