I would like to know that what exemption/deductions are available under IT Act, for non-salaried persons who do not have salary income but are having other income say interest income, annuity income etc when he /she is paying rent for house at a place where they do not own any house and not earning any rental income.
Under what section and what relief is available. Please explain with an example.
An early response will be highly appreciated.
    regards

You have to offer Interest income under the head - Other sources,
Annuity is to be offered under Salary income, Rent paid you can claim deduction U/s.80GG.
