If I sell a residential property which is held for more than 5 years, i.e. long term and invest proceeds in a commercial property, do I have to pay LTCG tax?

LTCG Exemption is allowed only for reinvestment in Residential Property and not Commercial Property.

Therefore, you would be required to pay Tax on LTCG @ 20% arising on the sale of property
