Retail offers best in class services, efficiently managing inventory, while executing industry leading marketing tactics that drive brand awareness, engagement, and retail activation.Job DescriptionThe Assistant Manager will support and oversee the Time Inc. India Business Office team by performing various reporting and processing activities, mentoring staff members, addressing immediate escalations and assisting Management in providing ad-hoc dashboards.

    Responsibilities include:
    • Working closely with Business leads of various business units and deep dive into the day to day operational work across various groups and ensure all regular, ad-hoc processes/reports are delivered
    • Handle immediate escalations and effectively manage upwards
    • Assist in the financial reporting for all the above clusters
    • Working in PeopleSoft to perform tasks like Miscellaneous billing, updating BOSS sales assignments, review and approve invoices, identify expense reclassifications, etc.
    • Providing operating account detail reports during Close
    • Create Management Reporting and Performing Analysis
    • Ability to interpret data and derive business models
    • Providing ad hoc reports.
    • Liaison between clients and company for business details
    • Maintain healthy relationship with existing clients
    Required Skills
    Degree/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics required. Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in reporting, consolidation and financial analysis- 2+ supervisory experience with strong strategic thinking/problem solving skills- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel)- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsAdded Advantage-Systems Knowledge- PeopleSoft Financials; Cognos;TM1

    Working Hours
    6:00 p.m. – 3:00 a.m.Self-reliant, resourceful, and able to work independently, but also an effective team member in sharing knowledge and best practices. Follows organization’s vision, values and principles
