    X company(haryana) is providing manpower services to Y company(delhi) & employee privided is working at punjab branch of Y comp.
    Which state minimum wages will apply?

    Can't say with full accuracy, but it should be that minimum wages which is applicable in that state in which the wage register is maintained or the place where the employer is.

    U mean position of employee doesn't matter.
    In that case, if comapny would have in punjab & employee is working at delhi branch than he would get wages at punjab rate which is much lower than delhi.
    How will it fullfill the purpose for which concept of minimum wages was created?

    As I mentioned at the outset, I can't say with full accuracy.
    That was a view point and not an opinion.
    In some laws, we work as per this criteria for eg in case of professional tax.

    Can you tell me about the Acts applicable in this case?
