    my income of fy 15-16 from salary and deposit intrest is 420982. my 80c investment is 76559.
    my NPS contribution of this FY is 23316, same anount contributed by my employer.
    should i aad this employer contribution in my total income?

    or if not, should i am lieble to claim my nps contribution 23316 in 80CCD1, and same in 80CCD2

    It is to be added

    S.17(viii) the contribution made by the Central Government [or any other employer] in the previous year, to the account of an employee under a pension scheme referred to in section 80CCD;


    After adding it, you should claim deduction u/s 80ccd(1) and 80CCD(2)

    it means i have to feed my total income 444298 instand of 420982

    Ensure that both the employer's contribution and the employee's contribution is first added into salary and then deduction is claimed u/s 80CCD.
