Only income share long term

    I have only income from stock long term capital gains of 10L which is exempted . Since my sole income is exempted should I file it.

    No in your case there is no need to file income tax return.

    Suppose my tax free income from ppf or capital gain is 50L and is the only income still I can skip filing return Pls clarify.

    Sir one thing i want to say is..
    If your total income during the year is less than the taxable limit..then there is no need to file income tax return.
    As per your explanation all the incomes which you have earned is exempt from income tax.
    So no need to file return.
