    Hello,

Please advise me on this. I am a salaried person. I delayed filing my returns of Financial Year 2013-14, and later discovered that I had some outstanding liability of income tax and also interest for delayed payment, on account of interest earned from my Fixed Deposits in bank. Hence I wanted to pay my pending income tax along with applicable interest for delayed payment. I went ahead and filled-up my ITR 1 online and hit the 'Submit' button, hoping that the website would redirect me to an online payment gateway wherein I could pay my pending tax amount. However, the ITR 5 got generated still showing the tax liability.

My question is, now that my ITR 5 has got generated online and is showing pending tax amount, how do I pay the same online, and afterward, will this automatically generate a new ITR 5 for me, showing zero tax liability. So how do a I correct this situation through online method?

Thanks in advance for your expert advice.
