to encourage you i will tell you one thing.

Mr. Bala who is Qualified CA just before 13 days prior to his 60 Years celebrations.

for direct entry scheme, you have to get with greater than 55%.

if you satisfied that condition you directly join CA-Inter without writing CA-CPT

Yes, it's possible because there are no age limits for Ca course. You can apply for CA intermediate course through direct entry route.

    According to direct entry route:
    1) If you are a commerce student then you have at least 55% in your graduation or post graduation.
    2) If you are a non-commerce student then you have at least 60% in your graduation or post graduation.
    3) According to minimum percentage criteria if you are eligible for CA direct entry route then you can register for the CA intermediate course.
    4) After this, you have to complete 9 months articleship and before articleship complete your IT and OT training first.
    5) Now you can appear for CA intermediate exam.

Otherwise, you can choose the other route i.e, you have to clear CA foundation first and then other levels.

Yes, of course, You can study for CA at the age of 51 because there are no age criteria for pursuing CA course. If you are graduate or post graduate by commerce background and you have scored 55% and above then you can register for direct entry route. Otherwise, if you want to go through CA foundation route then you can go for it.

According to me, you have to apply for CA direct entry scheme. Through the direct entry scheme, you can pursue CA course in 3 to 4 years.

ITT and OP training must be completed before commencement of practical training for the graduate students / Post Graduate students who are taking direct entry in the CA Course.

And in order to appear in the Intermediate examination, they need to successfully complete nine months of practical training.

A student can register for the CA Intermediate by filling the online registration form and by making the requisite fees. As soon as the payment is successfully done the system will automatically generate the form which is required to get print.

If you have any doubt, read the article - CA intermediate course guide.
