In India, the medical profession is organised (in theory at least).
One, as such, legally can not profess or practice in medicine or medical area, unless one has a certificate or other recognised degrees like MBBS, B.D.S, B.Pharma, B.P.T [Physiotherapy], N.D./N.M.D [NATUROPATHY / NATURAL MEDICINE], etc.

If the person is professing after acquiring such degree then such a person is a professional and can claim the benefit of S.44ADA.
