Service Tax on Renting of Furnished Residential Property

    Respected Sir/ Madam

    Our client is in Relocation business. He is taking Apartment on Lease and further subleases it to its client. Right now there is no Service Tax Compliance since Renting of Residential Property is covered under Negative List.

    Now, it is going to start providing Furnished Apartment. In the Invoice, there will be three heads being House Rent, Furniture Rent and Housekeeping Services. What will be the Service Tax compliance for the same? Will the House Rent portion continue to be under Negative List or is there any other compliance for Renting of Furnished Apartment?
