The buyer created TAN and deducted TDS from sale of property by NRI no 8 Jan 16 and deposited in designated bank authorised to collect such transactions. The NRI expired on 27 Jan 16 and his NOK wants to file return and get the TDS refund. The return has to be filled by 15 May 16 by the buyer. Is it possible to fill form 27 Q ( if this is the correct form) now, so that the TDS deducted gets reflected in 26a of NRIs PAN account, and not wait till 15 May16. Also elucidate the procedure to be followed y Buyer of property to regularise this TDS, like forms etc to be filled up and if they can be done online to hasten the process for NRI. Thanks
