    Job Description: Analyst – Corporate Controller

    Job Description

    As an Analyst one will be responsible for delivering on the periodic deliverables, specific tasks and requirements assigned to his team which is an integral part of the HR Finance – Payroll, Benefit & Expat Accounting for EMEA and Asia. To assist with maintaining a structured financial and operational control environment. Primary responsibilities will include and not be limited to the following:
    • Function Centric
    • Extraction, mining and reporting of financial reports. Good analytics and ability to interpret financial statements
    • Knowledge of accounting principles.
    • Regulatory & Financial Reporting.
    • Accounting control including GLRS reconciliation, substantiation process and query resolution
    • Prepare client-ready deliverables, with minimum guidance and support
    • Provide value-added inputs in every project / assignment
    • Develop required business & product knowledge
    • Execute on thought starters and other team initiatives
    • Gain a strong understanding of the company's financial infrastructure and reporting tools.
    • Develop a full understanding of the nature of all HR assigned accounts, their use and any issues which arise with the accounts.
    • To oversee the HR balance sheet in EMEA and Asia.
    • Account reconciliation and substantiation process for designated accounts).
    Qualifications
    • Qualified CA with experience of 1 year or Bachelors in commerce with 3-4 years of relevant experience.
    • Strong Working Knowledge of Accounting Platforms in SAP and Oracle will be an added advantage.
    • Facilitate ongoing review and analysis of efficiency opportunities.
    • Previous P&A / MIS Reporting experience is preferred.
    • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness of work.
    • Solid organizational skills with ability to consolidate and analyze data received from multiple sources.
    • Ability to build strong partnerships across the stakeholder groups at onshore location and within Mumbai through a proactive, and strong communication skills.
    • Highly effective time management skills - Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently in an efficient and effective manner with minimal supervision.
    • Good problem solving & execution skills.
    • Works well individually and shares information, supports colleagues and staff.
    • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, strong interest in learning, effective under pressure and willing to take personal responsibility / accountability.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
    • Experience managing confidential data with the utmost discretion.
    • Excellent MS Excel (data manipulation, macros, v-lookups, pivot tables) / MS Access/ MS PowerPoint skill sets will be preferred.

    Qualifications
