I am having 10 L worth of shares
for more than 2 years . If I sell it
I have a long term capital gain of 3 L.
Since there is no tax should I show
    this in the return

    thanks

    Dear am it thanks.

suppose I book a profit today can I file it online today itself? Or I should wait for next financial year.

Can I do the filing whenever I book the profit. Let me say two to three times a year.

    Thanks.

The income tax return is only filed once every year.

It is filed at the end of the year.

So profit arising during the whole year is disclosed only once at the end of the year.

If exempted income is earned in FY 2015-16, the ITR for the same would be filed in July 17
