Selling before possession

  1. Dear Sir,
    If I sale property after possession but before registry then buying price wii be total price paid till possession.
    2.If I sale before possession than total amount till paid to the builder will be purchase price.
    3.In both case property is sold after 3 years from dt of allotment. Therefore ltcg tax
    should apply & therefore if amount is invested taking cii in consideration to buy another property ltcg can be saved fully

    The purchase price would not be the actual amount paid but the agreed price for the purchase of property which was to be paid.
