    hiee,
    I am running media company.
    started in July.
    Till date i have not paid any service tax.
    till February my total business is 5,80,315.
    what is my tax libility. how to calculate my tax libility.
    please mail me my tax libility.

    Service Tax is levied @ 12.36% of the Total Sales i.e. 5,80,315 in this case.

    However, Small Scale Exemption is available to those service providers whose annual sales is less than Rs. 10 Lakhs.

    As your annual sales is less than Rs. 10 Lakhs, you can claim Exemption from Service Tax and No Service Tax would be levied on you in such a case
