    I have 3 questions.

I rented 2 floors of our commercial building for rent to a Lodge. The lodge pays me lumpsum rent of 48000 per month. They charge less than 900 rupees per room. Am I supposed to pay service tax on that 48000 rupees I receive from them?

This year my total rent received increased to more than 11 Lakhs. Do I need to pay service tax on the entire 11 Lakhs or only 1 Lakh. What about the next year?

If my rent reduces to less than 10 Lakhs in future, am I still supposed to pay service tax on the whatever the rent received?
