Starting Articleship before IPCC

    Hello..
    I am an IPCC student. I have registered with ICAI with CPT route. I have cleared CPT but I have not cleared IPCC exam. I have also cleared B.Com with 87% marks. My question is can I start my articleship without converting my registration to direct entry scheme. Thank you...

    As you are registered through the CPT Route, it is mandatory for you to clear IPCC Group I to start articleship.

    Only Direct Entry Scheme students can start their articleship before clearing IPCC Group I

    So in case you intent to start your articleship, you would be required to convert yourself into the Direct Entry Scheme
